Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm finally done! This one was finished a lot sooner than the other one but I was a stickler and insisted to myself that they had to be uploaded together and well... that one I was painstakingly coloring in Paint so it took a while.

This be a scene from Chapter 37 of "Custody", after Robin has (finally!) been rescued from Slade's clutches by Superman, Wonder Woman, and Starfire (plus some mystery helpers) and Robin wakes up in Gotham P.D. with his head in Star's lap sprawled out across a bunch of chairs. It was SUCH a sweet, tender, poignant and beautiful little moment that I simply HAD to draw it.

Robin is a little worse for the wear, as you can imagine.

Things I love about this piece: Star's hair, especially the highlights, the pose and expressions (OMG the hands actually came out right?!), Robin's messy unkempt hair and the scratches and bruises on his face.

Things I dislike: The foreshortening on Star's legs. Blech. Foreshortening remains the bane of my existence.
